Coriander and Orange Peel infused and dry hopped with Hull Melon hops. It is a seasonal beer so get some before there's nothing left.

Every year, Darling Brew produces a seasonal beer or two. This year they bottled two remarkable beers you'll have to try before stocks run out. The Darling Brew White IPA is a festive beer dry hopped with Hull Melon hops and infused with Coriander and Orange peel. A white IPA is brewed by mixing the hop-character and brewing techniques of an IPA with the wheat base and spice additions of a Belgian wit beer.

At first taste there's a mixture of aromas that deliver strong wheat beer flavours but that's quickly replaced with a beautiful hoppy aftertaste. The orange peel leaves a hint of flavour making this another winning seasonal beer from Darling Brew. I've had this beer with a variety of foods, from good old lamb on the braai to roasted chicken and everytime the pairing was spot on.

It is also a great festive beer and if you are aiming for a craft-beer inspired Xmas, then this one should be on your shopping list. The bottle photographed was the last beer of the case I bought. Best I go out and get more, the holidays have not even started yet.

[…] Darling Brew White IPA Our favourite seasonal beer is undoubtedly the Darling Brew White IPA and we hope to see this brew late into 2016. The White IPA from Darling Brew is dry hopped with Hull Melon hops and infused with Coriander and Orange peel. At first taste there's a mixture of aromas that deliver strong wheat beer flavours but that's quickly replaced with a beautiful hoppy aftertaste. The orange peel leaves a hint of flavour that will make you wonder if you are actually drinking an IPA. Read the review here. […]
